January has been a strange month. I’m not sure if it’s just me, but it seems to have dragged despite my fresh optimism for the year ahead. I’ve had a pretty productive month aside from gaming too, mainly focusing on planning our trip to Japan in March and also trying my hand at drawing (for the first time since I was doing my GCSEs). I’ve also been playing my guitar every night for the past week and studying Japanese most nights throughout the month too. I’m enjoying this routine and plan to keep it up!
Welcome to my final post of 2019, and the final post of the decade! This is the last Monthly Summary of the year and as you’ll probably see from this post, I’ve been trying to finish a lot of games off to prepare for my fresh 2020 gaming quest! I’ve been looking forward to 2020 for such a long time now and I’m honestly excited to begin the year ahead. So let’s take a final look back at the events of December…
As December is reserved for my favourite games of the year list, I’ll be taking a look back at the Most Anticipated Games of 2019 post I created in January. All the games on this list have either already been released or are scheduled for 2020, so I feel like this review wouldn’t turn out any different whether I did it now or next month.
Can you even believe half of 2019 has gone already?! There’s so many games I want to play but so little time! The Steam Summer Sale is also live right now up until the 9th of July, so I’m sure I’ll be making some more purchases within the next week to add to the ever-growing backlog. As per usual, here’s what I’ve been up to this month:
I’m not ashamed to admit that I’ve never understood all the hype for E3. This year has been no different. Since my blog is all about gaming, I do feel like I need to comment somewhat on which announcements I’m looking forward to, but this post will certainly be different to a lot of other coverage out there. Expect a few unpopular opinions in this one folks.
Being relatively new to the world of JRPGs, I haven’t had the opportunity to sink my thumbs into many during my time. I would love to experience (and actually finish) many JRPGs, but that got me thinking — “Where on Earth am I going to find the time to play any of these games?”
There are so many things I’m looking forward to this month! February was busy, but there’s so much stuff going on during March with new games coming out, launching a new blog series and things going off in my personal life too. In this post, I’d like to share with you what I’m looking forward to this month as well as introducing my new blogging series here too! So, here’s 11 things I’m excited for this month!
