There are plenty of truly wonderful gaming soundtracks out there which can contribute immensely to our personal gaming experiences. I see so many posts on Twitter about great OSTs whether it be appreciation posts, discussions or favourites lists; this topic is certainly a common one – with good reason. However, whenever I see talk of soundtracks, it always seems to be about how well they are written or how suited they are to the game. This is [11:11] after all, so I thought I’d address the topic with a slightly different outlook. As I have a musical background myself, the way music is used in gaming is a topic I’m particularly fond of, so I racked my brains to think of 11 games that have a unique type of soundtrack and / or use of music – the kind that incorporates into the game itself, or those that really go the extra mile to fit into the game’s requirements.
We’re halfway through Season 6 already. As expected, this is a pretty big patch for balance changes, but there’s also plenty of skins and another new Battle Pass on the way! Patch 6.7 will be released on Tuesday 23rd July with the Battle for Olympus content being released on 30th July and 13th August.
Can you even believe half of 2019 has gone already?! There’s so many games I want to play but so little time! The Steam Summer Sale is also live right now up until the 9th of July, so I’m sure I’ll be making some more purchases within the next week to add to the ever-growing backlog. As per usual, here’s what I’ve been up to this month:
We’re halfway through 2019… how crazy is that?! To mark the occasion, I though I would revisit my New Year’s Resolutions and take a note of my progress (or lack of) so far. The realisation that 6 months has already passed has given me a slight kick to get done what I hoped to get done.
I’m not ashamed to admit that I’ve never understood all the hype for E3. This year has been no different. Since my blog is all about gaming, I do feel like I need to comment somewhat on which announcements I’m looking forward to, but this post will certainly be different to a lot of other coverage out there. Expect a few unpopular opinions in this one folks.
Another patch is here, just in time for E3! Olorun, the next God available in Smite, was announced at E3 and will be coming to the game on 25th June! Not only that, there will be an excellent selection of skins coming over the course of the next month too – some of the best we’ve seen in a while! The regular God balance and item changes are included too as well as the announcements of the winners for two community skin contests! After the disappointment from last patch, I honestly can’t wait for this one!
Welcome back to another [11:11] post! So far I’ve talked about Games I Loved But Never Finished and JRPGs I Wish I Had Time To Play, so this time I thought I’d revisit the past and choose a selection of games I used to love when I was growing up.
