Patch 6.5 is here with the Neo Olympia update. This patch feature some separate game mode updates, the usual God balance and a truck load of new skins. This patch should be released on Monday 27th May going by the previous patch schedules, although this hasn’t be confirmed.
Update 6.3 has been announced! This update will see a brand new design for the Assault map, the next Battle Pass, a tonne of new skins and a fair amount of God nerfs. There are also updates to the UI display and other Project Olympus changes. Although the has been no official release date, I estimate the patch to be released on Tuesday 2nd April for PC and console with the Council of the Gods event starting a week later.
*Edit: The “From the Depths” Chest containing the Depths of Atlantis Nox skin will be released on Friday 5th April.
**Edit: The “From the Depths” Chest is still having issues, but the Nox skin is available for direct purchase at 1200 gems.
Patch 6.4 update notes will be released on Wednesday 17th April.
With the introduction of Season 6 last patch, we saw a vast amount of changes and some new additions, including the 100th God, Merlin. As well as making some slight alterations to a handful of 6.1 content, patch 6.2 will be bringing some new skins and another new God! God number 101 is a massive addition to Smite, literally! This god is unlike anything we’ve ever seen before and I’m sure he’ll cause some chaos on release. Personally, I can’t wait!
With Season 5 coming to a close, it’s time to make way for Season 6! The patch was delayed an extra week behind schedule, so we should hopefully be into the new Season from Monday 11th Feb.
As expected, this is the biggest patch of the year bringing a new God, crossplay and of course a hefty amount of balance updates! There’s also a handful of new skins including the end of Season 5 rewards and the next instalment to The Legend of Camelot.
Patches during Season 6 will be released every month rather than every two weeks. Hotfixes will still be issued when needed, but more time between patches should help improve the game quality.
Happy New Year! Here I am with my first post of 2019! This year, I’ll be setting myself some new resolutions which I’m hoping to fully stick to this time. I feel like 2019 will be a good year for my personal gaming progress and I really hope I can win by sticking to my goals.
With HRX coming up, there are very few changes with this patch so it will be fairly short. There are plenty of skins though with quite a few Guardian’s getting some love. Patch 5.20 will be released on Monday 29th October for PC according to the recent patch schedule and will be released for console later in the week.
We’re only one patch away from introducing Hera to the battleground! This patch will see the next instalment of Odyssey items, the first Hallowe’en skin of the year and the usual balance changes. Patch 5.18 should be released for PC on Tuesday 2nd October and later that week for console.
