Well, last month I said February was the worst month of my life… Now we have a winner! March has been a complete nightmare. I apologize for starting this post on a downer, but it gets better – I promise!
This time last year, I put together a ‘Most Anticipated Games of the Year’ list as there were so many games I was excited to be released in 2019. 2020 is going to be slightly different. Although there certainly are a strong handful of games set for release this year (I’m sure I’ll put a list together at some point), I’m actually more interested in getting around to my priority backlog list.
I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited for September to come around! I’ve been working an awful lot recently and I’ve not had a proper break since January so I’m definitely ready for some time off. I’ll be spending 10 whole days with my boyfriend, so we’re planning on working our way through a load of games – mostly local co-op games – that have been sat in out collective backlog for quite some time (and also a few new releases).
Valentine’s Day is upon us and what better way to spend it than showing some love to all those games you’ve accumulated and ignored over the years? Every gamer has a backlog in some form or another so I’m sure many of us can relate to the Backlog Blues, feeling slightly ashamed and a little guilty for letting all those games gather dust for far too long.
