Last year I posted my first #AniMay post talking about the last 11 anime I watched. Since I enjoyed a break from writing about gaming, I thought I’d revisit the topic again this year. I haven’t watched as much anime over the past 12 months as I did the year before, and I’ve actually only just seen enough to feature in this post – but unfortunately, I don’t feel like this list is as strong as last year’s. This is mainly due to the fact that me and my boyfriend have had a preference to watch films instead, therefore limiting our anime time.
This last month has been a very strange time for us all. I know a lot of people are finding the lockdown incredibly difficult, which is totally understandable, but I’m left feeling a little guilty for somewhat enjoying hiding myself away from the world. There’s no doubt I’m a complete shut in – I’ve only left the house on one occasion in the past 7 weeks and I’m not even beginning to feel stir crazy. Unfortunately, my boyfriend had to go back to work as an essential worker, so I’ve been hiding out in my family home for the past 4 weeks without seeing him (which has definitely been the worst part), however, we have been spending a lot more time gaming online together than usual.
March is gamergal.exe’s birthday!
Hello! October is here and I’m feeling spooky! This post is a little different from the others in the [11:11] series as I’ll be talking about games in a less direct way by featuring a list of characters here instead.
I’ve had a minor interest in cosplay for some time now, but I’ve never felt the urge to make a proper go of it. With this month being Hallowe’en, I’ve been thinking about which gaming characters I’d love to have a go dressing up as if I was to go to a party or event (which is highly unlikely for a shut-in like myself – but still). I came up with a few ideas so thought this would make an interesting topic for a post. Who knows, maybe by next year I might’ve actually tried a least one!
Welcome to the first bonus episode of [11:11] especially for #AniMay! After seeing a few posts on Twitter, I decided I really wanted to make my own anime list and thought fitting it into [11:11] would be a cool idea. However, I ideally wanted this series to revolve around gaming so I’ve decided to add in an extra post as part of a subseries (which may receive additional chapters later in the year).
Although I like to keep my blog focus specifically on gaming, I do like to talk about other interests I have such as anime and music every now and then. Since I enjoyed doing the 30 Day Anime Challenge last year, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to revisit the topic.
Personally, I find there’s nothing better than getting stuck right into a well written visual novel. I don’t always feel like playing games when I get in from work, so diving into something with minimal demand on my end is a great way to chill out after a long day. That being said, here I am with my first review of the year for my first 2019 game completion.
