Patch 6.11 has been announced for release on Tuesday 12th November, bringing a whole load of new content to Smite. The biggest thing this patch has to be the new RWBY themed Battle Pass! As a RWBY fan myself, I think the team have done a great job creating these skins and I’ve been waiting months for this since their teaser. Alongside that there are the usual balance changes, more Odyssey content and the return of Classic Domination!
The Dream Hack Patch is here! Since this patch will be used for the tournament, there isn’t a huge amount of balance changes, but there’s still plenty to see including the next instalment of Odyssey skins and a new Goddess! Since it’s October, two new skins will also be featured in the Halloween Chest as well as a Spooky version of Classic Joust returning as the next adventure game mode.
Patch 6.9 is on the way with plenty of new content. The Odyssey will be returning this month with a whole new line up of new skins, including a day one release of this year’s T5 ultimate reward – Stellar Demise Baron Samedi! Another Battle Pass is also on the way as well as the regular balance updates. Patch 6.9 should be available on Tuesday 17th September.
Update 6.8 is here with a whole new bunch of changes and new content. As the previous patch was the mid-season update, we can expect this patch to be a lot smaller with a few balance changes to the new items too. This update also includes the remaining content for the Battle for Olympus event including the long awaited T5 skin for Kukulkan, regular balance changes and a brand new God!
We’re halfway through Season 6 already. As expected, this is a pretty big patch for balance changes, but there’s also plenty of skins and another new Battle Pass on the way! Patch 6.7 will be released on Tuesday 23rd July with the Battle for Olympus content being released on 30th July and 13th August.
*EDIT: The Mid-Season update has been delayed and will be released on Wednesday 24th July, starting from 7am ET.
Another patch is here, just in time for E3! Olorun, the next God available in Smite, was announced at E3 and will be coming to the game on 25th June! Not only that, there will be an excellent selection of skins coming over the course of the next month too – some of the best we’ve seen in a while! The regular God balance and item changes are included too as well as the announcements of the winners for two community skin contests! After the disappointment from last patch, I honestly can’t wait for this one!
Patch 6.5 is here with the Neo Olympia update. This patch feature some separate game mode updates, the usual God balance and a truck load of new skins. This patch should be released on Monday 27th May going by the previous patch schedules, although this hasn’t be confirmed.
It’s time again for another patch with Update 6.4 – Sand and Skies! For the first time ever in Smite history, this patch will see the release of TWO brand new Gods at the same time! Both these Gods have lore related to each other so I think it’s great they are being released together, their passives even relate to each other too. As well as the new Gods, there will be a new event starting this patch that will run over the next few months containing a bunch of new skins and even a T5 skin reward!
Patch 6.4 will go live on 30th April with certain content from this patch being added throughout May.
Update 6.3 has been announced! This update will see a brand new design for the Assault map, the next Battle Pass, a tonne of new skins and a fair amount of God nerfs. There are also updates to the UI display and other Project Olympus changes. Although the has been no official release date, I estimate the patch to be released on Tuesday 2nd April for PC and console with the Council of the Gods event starting a week later.
*Edit: The “From the Depths” Chest containing the Depths of Atlantis Nox skin will be released on Friday 5th April.
**Edit: The “From the Depths” Chest is still having issues, but the Nox skin is available for direct purchase at 1200 gems.
Patch 6.4 update notes will be released on Wednesday 17th April.
With the introduction of Season 6 last patch, we saw a vast amount of changes and some new additions, including the 100th God, Merlin. As well as making some slight alterations to a handful of 6.1 content, patch 6.2 will be bringing some new skins and another new God! God number 101 is a massive addition to Smite, literally! This god is unlike anything we’ve ever seen before and I’m sure he’ll cause some chaos on release. Personally, I can’t wait!
