It’s the last day of November which means it’s time for another monthly Summary. It’s scary to think that there’s only one month left of 2019… I still have so many things on my list of things to do and far too many games left to play with only a few weeks remaining. December is going to be a just month!
As December is reserved for my favourite games of the year list, I’ll be taking a look back at the Most Anticipated Games of 2019 post I created in January. All the games on this list have either already been released or are scheduled for 2020, so I feel like this review wouldn’t turn out any different whether I did it now or next month.
Patch 6.11 has been announced for release on Tuesday 12th November, bringing a whole load of new content to Smite. The biggest thing this patch has to be the new RWBY themed Battle Pass! As a RWBY fan myself, I think the team have done a great job creating these skins and I’ve been waiting months for this since their teaser. Alongside that there are the usual balance changes, more Odyssey content and the return of Classic Domination!
October’s Monthly Summary is a day late this time due to the HORRORWE’EN post I co-wrote with WesleyWhale being posted yesterday. October was fairly busy for gaming despite not having a huge amount of free time and I managed to finish up the main games I started in September. October has mainly revolved around Hallowe’en though which I’m sure you’ll notice. Let’s take a look!
Happy Hallowe’en! Over the past few weeks, Hallowe’en has taken priority over my usual gaming normalities since spooky season is my favourite time of the year. Horror games aren’t even close to being my go to genre, but I do enjoy mixing things up a bit so what better time than Hallowe’en to dive under a duvet in a dark room with a selection of horror games.
Myself and spooky gaming buddy, WesleyWhale, have teamed up again to share our opinions on a selection of 8 games with a horror / Hallowe’en vibe. We did a post very similar to this last year which you can check out here, or you can read on for this year’s cut. This year, we have selected another handful of varied games to try to cover as much ground as possible for any type of gamer, whether you’re into scary, cute, action or adventure – we’ve got you covered!
Hello! October is here and I’m feeling spooky! This post is a little different from the others in the [11:11] series as I’ll be talking about games in a less direct way by featuring a list of characters here instead.
I’ve had a minor interest in cosplay for some time now, but I’ve never felt the urge to make a proper go of it. With this month being Hallowe’en, I’ve been thinking about which gaming characters I’d love to have a go dressing up as if I was to go to a party or event (which is highly unlikely for a shut-in like myself – but still). I came up with a few ideas so thought this would make an interesting topic for a post. Who knows, maybe by next year I might’ve actually tried a least one!
The Dream Hack Patch is here! Since this patch will be used for the tournament, there isn’t a huge amount of balance changes, but there’s still plenty to see including the next instalment of Odyssey skins and a new Goddess! Since it’s October, two new skins will also be featured in the Halloween Chest as well as a Spooky version of Classic Joust returning as the next adventure game mode.
