Top 10 Anime OP/ED Songs #AniMay 2021

I’m kicking off “AniMay 2021” a little later than expected with another OD/ED appreciation post! Some Anime have fantastic themes to compliment the series, some of which being existing songs and others being written specifically, but either way, there are some insanely good and catchy songs to be scouted purely through anime. I wrote my first OP/ED post this time last year which had some incredible musical works included – some of which are still some of my all time favourites – so if you haven’t seen it already, please go check it out here!

Seriously Geeky Sundays: Animation

This is my first entry to the Seriously Geeky Sundays prompt created by Heather at Just Geeking By, with this week’s theme created and hosted by Megan at A Geeky Gal. I thought this animation theme would be a great introduction to join in with the SGS community and I hope to contribute more in the near future.

Top 10 Anime OP/ED Songs #AniMay 2020

It’s not uncommon for anime to have memorable theme songs. These themes can either be written with a certain series in mind, sometimes with contributions from the voice cast, or it could even be an existing song that fits the desired style pretty well already. Either way, there can be some real gems found here, all written using a vast range of musical styles.

I’ve been wanting to share some of my favourite anime songs for a while now, so what better time to do so than during #AniMay! I’ve made a list of 10 anime OPs and/or EDs that I would consider to be my all time favourite anime songs (only one song per anime).

So what will come out on top? Let’s find out!

#AniMay 2020

Last year I posted my first #AniMay post talking about the last 11 anime I watched. Since I enjoyed a break from writing about gaming, I thought I’d revisit the topic again this year. I haven’t watched as much anime over the past 12 months as I did the year before, and I’ve actually only just seen enough to feature in this post – but unfortunately, I don’t feel like this list is as strong as last year’s. This is mainly due to the fact that me and my boyfriend have had a preference to watch films instead, therefore limiting our anime time.

If you’d like to take a look at my #AniMay 2019 post, follow the link here!

#AniMay [11:11] – The Subseries

Welcome to the first bonus episode of [11:11] especially for #AniMay! After seeing a few posts on Twitter, I decided I really wanted to make my own anime list and thought fitting it into [11:11] would be a cool idea. However, I ideally wanted this series to revolve around gaming so I’ve decided to add in an extra post as part of a subseries (which may receive additional chapters later in the year).

Although I like to keep my blog focus specifically on gaming, I do like to talk about other interests I have such as anime and music every now and then. Since I enjoyed doing the 30 Day Anime Challenge last year, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to revisit the topic.

I can’t believe it’s time to wrap up the 30 Day Anime Challenge already! This post contains the final group of questions created by A Geeky Gal. It has been an incredible blogging journey and I’m so glad I’ve taken part, what’s more is that I’ve actually stuck to the schedule this time and I’m so proud of myself!

30 Day Anime Challenge: Section 5

I’m back with the penultimate section to the 30 Day Anime Challenge as created by A Geeky Gal! I’m still thoroughly enjoying writing these posts and I’m glad I decided to take part by writing in sections. I also seem to have watched more anime this month than I do normally, probably due to this challenge… and I’m loving it!

30 Day Anime Challenge: Section 3

I’m here with section 3 of the 30 Day Anime Challenge, as created by A Geeky Gal. I’m halfway through the challenge now and although I tweaked the main challenge from posting every day to posting 5 questions per post every 5 days, I’m very proud of myself for sticking to this schedule! These questions have been the most difficult ones so far but I managed to get there in the end!

30 Day Anime Challenge: Section 2

It’s been five days since I posted Section 1 of my 30 Day Anime Challenge, created by A Geeky Gal! This post is a bit meatier than the last one as I’ve gone into a little more detail with my reasoning. I’m actually really enjoying writing about something other than games for a change, so I’m happy I decided to take part!
