Update 6.8 is here with a whole new bunch of changes and new content. As the previous patch was the mid-season update, we can expect this patch to be a lot smaller with a few balance changes to the new items too. This update also includes the remaining content for the Battle for Olympus event including the long awaited T5 skin for Kukulkan, regular balance changes and a brand new God!
Persephone – Greek Mage
Passive – Pomegranate Seeds: Persephone gains pomegranate seeds when they wither. Collecting 25 seeds grants Persephone death resistance, allowing her to remain on the battlefield for a further 8 seconds dealing 50% reduced damage. Persephone can hold up to 100 seeds, selling additional seeds for 3 gold each upon returning to the fountain.
Basic Attacks: Persephone’s successful basic attacks can activate Harvest plants in a 7.5 unit radius.
Ability 1 – Bone Rush: Persephone summons a skeletal warrior which charges forwards for 35 units or until it hits an enemy god before its bones breaking and flying forwards, dealing 100/160/220/280/340 (+80% magical power) damage (100/150/200/250/300 PTS change). The skull of the warrior also flies forwards, turning into a Harvest skull where it lands. Cooldown 12 seconds.
Ability 2 – Harvest: Persephone places a skull on the ground which can be activated with a basic attack, healing her and stacking her passive and withering after 120 seconds. If left for 4 seconds, it evolves into a sprout which explodes when activated for 60/110/160/210/260 (+70 magical power) damage (60/100/140/180/220 (+75 magical power) PTS change) and slows enemies by 30%. If activated after 24 seconds, it turns into a flower that chases down enemies for 3 seconds before biting them for 70/125/180/235/290 (+80% magical power) damage (70/115/160/205/250 (+85 magical power) PTS change). Enemies recently hit by Harvest take reduced damage (3 stacks). 6 skulls can be stored and 10 can be active on the battlefield at once. Cooldown 8 seconds.
Ability 3 – Flourish: Persephone jumps either directly forwards or backwards (45 units) depending on the way she is travelling. All Harvest plants in the take off area evolve to their next stage and the next use of Harvest is pre-germinated and spawns straight as a sprout. Cooldown 15/14/13/12/11 seconds.
Ultimate Ability – Grasp of Death: Persephone throws out a collection of vines that stops on first enemy god or wall hit. Trapped Gods are then crippled, rooted and have their attack speed reduced by 20/22.5/25/27.5/30% for 5 seconds. Vines also spawn from the trapped enemy, grasping hold of any other enemy gods in the area, crippling them and preventing them from moving further away. The vines encasing the first God can be destroyed with 5 basic attacks which will free all players attached. Cooldown 90 seconds.

Fail-not – Decreased critical chance from 25% to 20%, fixed an issue where the buff was affecting non-god targets (buff now only applies to enemy gods).
Pridwen – Decreased both physical and magical protections from 40 to 30 protection.
Dynasty Plate Helm – Decreased magical power from 55 to 50, decreased physical protections from 35 – 30 protection.
Emerald Ring (tier 1) – Increased magical power from 20 to 25, removed 3% movement speed.
Enchanted Ring (tier 2) – Increased cost from 1200 gold to 1100 gold, removed 5% movement speed.
Demonic Grip – Increased magical power from 65 to 75, removed 7% movement speed.
Telkhines Ring – Increased attack speed from 20% to 25%, increased the passive’s magical damage scaling from 10% to 15%, removed 10% movement speed.
Shaman’s Ring / Evolved Shaman’s Ring – Increased cost from 2400 gold to 2500 fold, increased magical power from 100 to 110, added 10% cooldown reduction, increased passive’s debuff mark duration from 5 seconds to 10 seconds. Removed 10% movement speed.
Katana (tier 1) – Decreased movement speed from 5% to 3%.
Thousand Fold Blade (tier 2) – Decreased movement speed from 8% to 5%.
Masamune – Increased health from 100 to 150 health, decreased movement speed from 10% to 7%.
Stone Cutting Sword – Decreased movement speed from 10% to 7%.
Bumba’s Mask – Increased damage taken from 10% to 15%, decreased damage dealt from 10% to 15%.
- Base – Increased base HP from 350 HP to 380 HP, increased HP per level from 66 to 70.
- Grasping Hands – Decreased mana cost from 70/75/80/85/90 to 60/65/70/75/80, decreased cooldown from 15/14/13/12/11 seconds to 14/13/12/11/10 seconds.
- Venomous Bite – Decreased base healing from 10/20/30/40/50 +10% per tick to 8/16/24/32/40 +8% per tick.
- Web – Decreased slow from 25% to 15%.
- Base – Increased base attack speed per level from 1.1 to 1.4.
- Masterful Shot – Increased slow 25% at all ranks to 25/27.5/30/32.5/35%.
- Accelerate – Decreased initial movement speed from 25% to 15%.
- Polymorph – Increased damage from 60/105/150/195/240 to 80/120/160/200/240.
- Circle of Protection – Decreased damage mitigation from 25% at all ranks to 20% at all ranks.
- Unstable Vortex – Decreased cooldown from 10 seconds to 9 seconds.
- Consuming Bellows – Decreased magical power scaling from 50% to 45% on initial hit, decreased magical power scaling of bonus damage from 10% to 5%. Fixed an issue where bonus damage was not benefiting from scaling properly.
- Base – Increased base health from 400 health to 450 health.
- Focused Light – Increased base damage from 100/140/180/220/260 to 100/145/190/235/280.
Skin deals – New bundles containing 3 exclusive skins per bundle up for direct purchase alongside the daily deals. Content will rotate every Friday.
Spirit Guide Artio can be earned for free during a community event! The more games that are played by the community, the more rewards will be activated – the final reward being the Artio Skin.
The Odyssey 2020 will focus mainly on Persephone.
